Hi, I’m Maria. I’m a mom of two amazing children and travel is one of my greatest passions in life. I love sharing what I learn from my trips and encouraging other families to travel too!

I’ve travelled to 30 countries over the years and have lived in 4. I’m originally from Dublin, Ireland now living in Western Massachussetts. 

Living in Massachusetts makes it easy for me to regularly visit one of my all-time favourite destinations – Martha’s Vineyard.

My love affair with this beautiful island began when I moved there at 19, and it has been my home away from home ever since. During my time living in Edgartown on Martha’s Vineyard, I worked in restaurants and hotels, advising guests on all the island had to offer.

I have returned frequently over the past two decades, travelling by car, bus, boat and plane, staying at hotels, inns and vacation rental homes, visiting new attractions and businesses and exploring every part of the island along the way.

I got engaged and married on Martha’s Vineyard and now bring my children who are quickly falling in love with the island the same way I did all those years ago. If you are looking to visit the island with your little ones, I have lots of helpful tips and advice on making it an enjoyable and memorable experience for all.

My aim is to help people discover the beauty of Martha’s Vineyard and make their trips here as special and unique as possible.

Whether you’re visiting for a short break or setting up home here as a seasonal resident, I have lots to share about things to do and see on this amazing island.  I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and experiences of this wonderful place with other visitors.
